This talk will discuss the many types of music licensing deals and the money that can be made. Areas covered include film, television and videogame licensing, mechanical/reproduction royalties including downloads, performance/communication royalties including radio, television and internet licensing, ringtones and ringbacks, interactive dolls and toys, electronic greeting cards, advertising commercials, lyric reprints on clothes and in books, musical theatre, remixes and mashups, sampling and more.
