“Why Are Clouds So Blue” by Alicija Music

Alicija MusicOn its very first day, ‘Clouds So Blue’ received over 600 YouTube hits. The video for her new release was shot at Blessington Lakes near Poulaphouca in Co Wicklow late in Spring just before the leaves had lost their new green hue. They end result is a stunning portrayal of both the song and Alicija’s camera friendliness.

On the day it launched Alicija’s song was played on both TV and Radio in her home country of Lithuania. “We’re hoping we can continue the trend here in Ireland and we hope Irish media stations will support great music written and composed right here in Ireland.” Alicija said.

The song’s co-writer is Louth Based songwriter Maurice Byrne. Alicija and Maurice have been writing together for five years now. They have released four singles and have music in three American movies and an award winning US documentary. Maurice is a member of California Based “West Coast Songwriters” song writing collective.

“Why Are Clouds So Blue” will be available for download from your favourite download store from the 4th June 2015.
