Leo Dynamic 1 and Micah Release ‘Baby Baby’

Leo Dynamic 1 feat. Micah have just released the single “Baby Baby” worldwide through Swedish record label, Yellow RhineStone Records.

Leo and Micah first collaborated back in 2011 for the Hot Press Magazine Songwriting Competition. Their track “Let the Truth Decide” was shortlisted for the final.

In the years since, Leo has won 2 Songwriting Awards and featured in music magazines such as Future Music and Hot Press. Leo enjoys writing in multiple genres from pop, dance and urban to mention but a few.

He was also a member of an international song writing group which was mentored by the
great songwriter, record producer and manager Jack Ponti. Jack was in a band with Jon Bon Jovi before the band ‘Bon Jovi’ was formed.

Leo has successfully had his music placed on MTV USA and continues to compose for American shows.
From March this year, Leo’s music has reached a new level, attracting the attention of a record label in Sweden, Yellow RhineStone Records. His previous release ‘Time is on our Side’ Ft. Leanne Cooney, is receiving radio play in U.K, Italy, Spain & Portugal. The song already has over 230,000 views on YouTube. Leo has had successes in Germany also with Sony Music, with two songs reaching the Top 10 in the charts there.

Leo Dynamic1 is not shy to success, prior to his music career, he was a Champion Boxer, winning two All Ireland Titles. This passion saw him fight in America, Europe and called to fight for his country. All his drive, ambition and passion, he applies to his Music!

Micah is a trained singer-songwriter, who is a seasoned live performer. After working with Leo in 2011, she joined the girl group “Rouges”, who achieved no.4 in the iTunes Ireland chart.

In 2014 she became involved in a New York girl group “Unique”, where she was not only a singer but one of the band songwriters. However, in 2015 Micah decided to go solo continuing to work on her own music, writing for short films and collaborating with other songwriters. Similarly to Leo she enjoys writing in multiple genres but with a slightly darker edge. In 2016 she released a song with Myles Darcy “Lie Detector” reaching over 88k views on YouTube. These were proceeded by “Freedom” over 24k views and “Can’t Let Go” over 13k views.

Throughout this time she has continued to cultivate her stage craft singing with Big Bands such as Route66 at various theatres and festivals throughout Ireland. Met with standing ovations at the end of each performance.

Leo and Micah are continuing their collaborations with future upcoming releases in 2017 and 2018.

Declan Sessions Comes to Electric Picnic

Declan Sessions is a weekly online video showcase which promotes original songwriters in Ireland.

The project is run by Nadine Keogh and Tom O’Connor.

We travel around the country in our vintage VW campervan “Declan” filming singer songwriters performing original songs on the couch. We feature a new artist on our website each week.

The project began in June 2016, and since then we have filmed over 55 artists in 26 towns around the country. The project aims to provide musicians with good quality content that they can use to promote themselves online at no cost to the artist.

This year Declan Sessions will have its own stage in the ArtLot area of Electric picnic. Some of the best artists we’ve recorded over the year will be performing live throughout the weekend.

Showing real commitment to their art, singer Luke and drummer Rob both had fresh “OK” tattoos committed to flesh for the album artwork.

To support the release of the album, Otherkin will be out on tour as both special guests of INHEAVEN in the UK and headlining their own gigs in fifteen European countries. They are also confirmed for the Leeds / Reading festival at the end of August.

Let it Shine | Miles Graham

Last year Miles Graham and his band played The Chocolate Factory as part of Hard Working Class Heroes Festival, it was a storming set in front of a 100 strong crowd. A great crowd for the room, but when you hear this Sligo based man sing you will understand why more people need to be able to witness Miles’s soulful, r&b tones. In the same period, Miles lent his vocal to L’Tric’s “1994”, how lucky were these guys.

Miles Graham writes amazing songs, arranges amazing songs and sings them with a voice that will honestly melt you. Miles is amongst a crop of Irish males at the time of writing that are attracting deserved attention. From Brian Deady to Collective Mgmt’s own Uman, Miles is right alongside them. Indeed, he is gathering applause of his own across the water on BBC Radio 2 for the last few years, including very kind words from the late Sir Terry Wogan who invited Miles on his weekend show in 2015.

Nods of approval (and song plays) have also been received from BBC Radio 2’s Graham Norton, Jo Whiley and Ken Bruce. In addition, Cerys Matthews’ BBC Radio 6 Music has also been talking up the talented soul singer, comparing him to Pharrell Williams on her radio show and saying: “His Array of Songs Blew Me Away.” She continued, “His Magnetic soulful voice and raconteur songwriting talent, inspired by Otis Redding, Van Morrison, Paul Weller, Bill Withers and contemporary singer/songwriters like James Morrison, Aloe Blacc and Plan B marks him out as a special talent.”

LET IT SHINE – now on release, wrap your ears around it

It will be the culmination of this year’s Sound of Belfast festival, which will run from 2 – 11 November, and will be supported by Live Music Partner Blue Moon for a second year.

Vivian has since written, performed, toured and worked with some of the biggest names in rock including Thin Lizzy, DIO, Whitesnake, Riverdogs, and Lou Gramm (ex-foreigner). In 1992 he found a permanent home with British rock legends Def Leppard and this year he celebrates 25 years with the band.

Vivian continues to write and perform on various other projects and will be bringing his current band Last In Line to the Mandela Hall for a special Legend Award performance.

Vivian had this to say about the award “I‘ve been very fortunate that my life’s work has also been my passion. It’s an honour to be recognised for that, and especially so when that recognition comes from my fellow countrymen.

Oh Yeah CEO Charlotte Dryden said: “Vivian Campbell is a global rock name, he’s fully deserving of this award, rock has played a massive role in the story of music in NI and Vivian is one of the trail blazers. Kim Hayden Releases Debut Album

‘The Other Woman’ is the title track taken from the debut album by, soulful Irish singer songwriter, Kim Hayden.

Speaking about the album, Kim says, “I am so excited and proud of ‘The Other Woman’. It came from a completely honest place. Some may think ‘The Other Woman’ is me talking about another woman in my partner’s life, but funny enough it’s actually about the other woman in me; the wild Kim, the dark Kim. If you listen to the album narrative from start to end, you will be able to tell which Kim it is.

I believe we all have 2 sides and sometimes one cannot be controlled. Every song on the album came from an honest place, and reflected what I was feeling the moment I wrote it. I had a rough year due to ‘The Other Woman’ in me but if I didn’t go through that year the album wouldn’t have happened.

Kim rose to prominence in 2013, when she appeared in that years series of The Voice. Well and truly capturing the hearts of the public Kim made it all the way to the semi finals. Following the show, Kim went on to release her first single titled ”Warrior” which made it to no.1 in the R’n’B iTunes Charts that year. She subsequently released her debut EP ”Better” reached the top 10 in the Irish album charts.

Unbeknownst to Kim, while was competing in The Voice, she caught the attention of Paddy Casey, who loved her voice, and reached out to her to record a duet with him. The result was the track ‘Out Of Control’, which hit the Top 3 in the Irish Charts, and saw Kim and Paddy embark on a radio tour of the country, promoting the track.

A tireless working musician, Kim is constantly busy gigging at different events up and down the country in the run up to the release of ‘The Other Woman’ on August 25th.
