Bookings: events@nullimro.ie (FREE event – Booking essential)
Host: Chris Cooke MD and Business Editor at CMU
This CMU Insights session reviews the digital music market in 2017, looking at the kinds of services gaining traction in different markets, and the specific platforms that have the most momentum in terms of users and/or revenue. It will also provide a basic beginners guide to how the music industry is licensing these services and how digital royalties flow through the system, and consider the challenges of converting freemium users to premium services, and securing sustained listening of individual artist’s recordings to ensure success in the streaming age.
