Pulse College (Dublin, Ireland) is a leading creative institution for Irish and international contemporary musicians, music producers and artists aiming to work in the global entertainment music industry. For over 20 years, it has been at the forefront of audio education in Ireland, pushing the boundaries for industry focused learning, consistently sending out skilled, creative and qualified graduates into the highest ends of the music industry.

This year saw Pulse College launch an innovative 1-year MA in Scoring for Film & Visual Media program, delivered in partnership with DIT Conservatory of Music & Drama. A first of its kind for Ireland, the program includes some of the Hollywood Scoring Communities biggest names as visiting tutors, such as Conrad Pope, Christopher Young, Garry Schyman and Richard Bellis.

Program director Derek Gleeson, and director of the Dublin Philharmonic Orchestra, says “We are attracting passionate students and professionals from all over the world, as well as Ireland. Musicians that have a unique style, create original compositions, and are able to tell a story through music.”

Pulse College prides itself on the world-class standard of tutors and facilities within its Music & Audio departments, namely Windmill Lane Recording Studios, which the college owns and operates, giving its student’s unparalleled access to real-world music production and recording.

The BA (Hons) in Music Production program has provided some of the most gifted graduates to the Irish and International music production industry. The program provides all students with a comprehensive understanding of the entire production journey, from how to capture the individual sound of an artist or a band, to recording techniques, arranging, re mixing.

Both of these music courses have propelled Dublin onto the international stage to become the go to destination for young musicians and music producers demanding first class educational and practical experiences within a vibrant, dynamic city.

Pulse College hosts a Live Online Google Hangout Wednesday 8th October to launch the opening of 2015 enrolment to both the ‘MA in Scoring for Film & Visual Media’ & ‘BA (Hons) in Music Production’ programs. This free Q&A event will allow prospective students to join Pulse College online as they announce details of scholarships; showcase the world class facilities of the college; meet & greet members of their renowned tutors; and uncover the life of Irish and International students studying in Dublin.
