Mayo based David Dee Moore is launching his new EP ‘A Sea So Shallow (an audio postcard) on Sunday March 18th 7pm at The Clock Tavern, Westport.
David has written 5 catchy pop songs that intimately portray his life in Mayo and the beautiful scenery all around him.
Songs like ‘Blue Blue Blue Clew Bay’ and ‘This Fjord Is As Deep As My Heart’ explain in poetic detail the scenery yet make you want to tap your feet to their infectious rhythms. An audio postcard indeed!
David will also be celebrating on the night 4 years of The Acoustic Yard which includes organising sessions, festivals and his own radio show on www.bluesandrootsradio.com. He will also be sharing details of this year’s festival which will be held on May 11th to 13th and already includes acts like Mundy, The 4 of Us and and the 7 piece acapella group Coda.
Joining David for his EP launch will be the band H A T S and special guest from Belgium singer songwriter Daithi Rua. Admission is free but please support original music by purchasing a copy of the EP for €5.
