Axis Of Take on Europe

May 10, 2011

Alternative punk trio, Axis Of, are getting ready to take Europe by storm this summer with a series of gigs in Belgium, France, Luxembourg and Holland. Having already trekked around the UK and Ireland countless times before and performed at festivals far and wide such as Glasgowbury, Pigstock, Soundcity in Liverpool and Eurocultured in Manchester, the Belfast-based three-piece now set their sights on mainland Europe in a bid to blow away audiences with their righteous brand of nu-school punk rock.

Axis Of are already receiving much love from the music press in Ireland and the UK, and they now plan to capitalize on their rapidly growing reputation as a fearsome live act with the re-release of their EP, ‘Port Na Spaniagh/Brobdingnagian’, on June 6th, featuring both of those incendiary tracks plus ‘We Dine On Seeds’.

The hardworking band spent last Christmas recording music for Radio One at the legendary Maida Vale studios in London and 2011 sees them emerge as one of the most exciting bands to come out of Northern Ireland in recent years. Initial tour dates in support of the release of ‘Port Na Spaniagh/Brobdinagian’ are detailed below.
