Bank Holiday Weekender at Tripod

The folks at Tripod have pulled together a fantastic three night bill over this coming October Bank Holiday weekend which sees the birth of an annual event at the venue. On Friday, Cocoon lead man and international superstar, Sven Vath, leads the charge for the weekend with what always promises to be a show full of surprises and absolute stomping new tunes. Cocoon is at the top of the pile this year in Ibiza with weekly sell out events at the super club Amnesia. ( Doors 11pm )

 

On Saturday, we get a very rare chance to see one of the coolest artists in Electronic Music, Trentemoller, for a live show on the back of his new album. The last time he graced out shores was 2008 when he kept a 1000 strong crowd in awe for his 90 minute live performance. Trentemoller will be supported on the night by Chimes and Bells and the show starts at 9pm and will continue with a post show DJ performance by Colour TV. Main act on stage 10.30pm (Doors 8.30 pm )

 

One of the biggest up and coming performers from the dance world, Dr Lekroluv, takes to the stage for the Bank holiday Sunday finale. Support on the night comes from Tai, another great upcoming artist, for the launch of the Dr's latest compilation, Live at Lowlands Compliation.
