‘Shadow’ is the new release from Dublin singer-songwriter Ben Pyne, out 19th February.
The release is penned by Ben, who has fired out a string of releases in the past three years, including GigsIreland’s Album of the Year 2019 ‘Calm in the Wild’; and writing collaborations with D.Cullen on ‘Windows’, and Sindri Bjornsson on ‘Love Like Mine’.
Recorded in Wicklow and produced by Mark Caplice (Jake Carter, Ryan O’Shaughnessy), ‘Shadow’ could be a perfectly-timed lockdown song capturing the angst of restrictions, barriers and physical distancing, which will resound with many right now. The theme is set against the contrasting backdrop of warm guitars and atmospheric synths, and layers of falsetto vocals in the chorus.
‘Shadow’ is released to all music platforms on Friday, February 19th.
