The Coronas – @ THE PARK

THE CORONAS with special guest KT Tunstall are to play an intimate concert under canvas @ The Park on Friday 22nd July.

Taking place within the unique surroundings of Marlay Park, @ The Park is a series of concerts which will provide fans with some of the best live music the venue has seen, all located within dark intimate surroundings of a tent giving people the festival experience set to the picturesque backdrop of the Dublin mountains.

Tickets priced €29.50 (standing) with limited tiered seating available at €34.50 go on sale next Thursday 14th April at 9am from Ticketmaster.

The Coronas’ high energy live shows and repeat hit albums have created a relentless army of hardcore fans across the country now exploding worldwide, that most bands can only dream of.

The Coronas sold out 3 nights in a row at The Olympia at Christmas, they were special guests on The Script’s European Tour and they have just returned from a US Tour that included sell out shows in New York, Vancouver and San Francisco. Sir Paul McCartney personally requested that they open his Dublin show at The RDS last summer. Their debut album ‘Heroes or Ghosts’ has exceeded double platinum sales.

Now The Coronas with special guest KT Tunstall will play their biggest ever Irish headline concert limited to 6,000 revellers @ The Park this summer.

Multi platinum Scottish singer songwriter KT Tunstall released her third studio album ‘Tiger Suit’ last autumn. KT Tunstall won a Brit award in the Best Female Solo artist category in 2006. She was also nominated for a Grammy Award for her smash hit ‘Black Horse and The Cherry Tree’.

Throughout the years, Marlay Park has provided a stage for some of the world’s biggest performers including Radiohead, The Who, Aerosmith, The White Stripes, R.E.M., Daft Punk and Van Morrison. Continuing on in this fine tradition Marlay Park is about to be transformed into a music lovers paradise once again.
