My Beautiful, a song written by Wexford duo John Kinsella and Fergal O’Byrne was released by emerging star George Hutton in Dublin last week and went straight to Number 1 in the Irish and UK iTunes Easy Listening Charts. George Hutton has just finished starring in RTE’s Exiles: Vancouver show and was a massive hit with audiences. George is set for a stellar singing career and his voice has previously been heard in internationally renown Anúna and his has performed with Hozier and Glen Hansard.
“Myself and John Kinsella had a very clear vision when we wrote the lyrics and music for this song; we knew we needed a very special type of singer to perform it. We were fortunate to hook up with George when Exiles: Vancouver producer Steve McCormack introduced us at its launch party”, says songwriter Fergal O’Byrne.
George Hutton, singer, added, “I was immediately taken with the words of the song when Fergal emailed my the lyrics. I thought is quite poetic and then when we got to the studio and heard John’s orchestration I was blown away. I found it moving to sing the song to be honest.” He also mentioned that model and fellow Exile Nicola Hughes is set to star in the video for My Beautiful to be shot in August.
A singer of all genres, has performed in the Royal Albert Hall, London as part of the BBC Proms (2012), member of the acclaimed collective Anuna (2012), writer and producer of the play/musical ‘The Exile’ (2015), star of RTE’s recent series ‘Exiles:Vancouver’ (2015). George has previously performed with internationally renown Anúna, Hozier and Glen Hansard.
Fergal O’Byrne and John Kinsella are part of a musical production which comprises writers, musicians and producers, based in the South East of Ireland with a proven track record for creating bespoke charting music across many genres.
