Sligo based singer-songwriter Glenn Cal is quickly making a name for himself on the Irish music scene. Since the recording of his debut EP 'Brand New Day' Glenn has been gigging extensively, playing at festivals such as Electric Picnic, Temple House and Sligo Live Sessions.
Last summer Glenn shared the stage with pop sensations Westlife at Lissadell House, Sligo and the Marquee, Cork. Following the success of these shows, Glenn was handpicked by the Westlife guy’s themselves to be one of the official support acts on their current Gravity Tour 2011, which takes in arenas in both The UK and Ireland.
In his music you will find mixed elements of acoustic folk and soft rock combined to create vibrant original melodies with heartfelt deep lyrics resulting in catchy well written songs. On listening it leaves the listener wanting more.
