‘Christmas Tears’ by Irish singer-songwriter Helen Agnes D has been released at a time in when the celebration of Christmas itself has been made difficult for people all over the world. ‘Christmas Tears’ evokes bittersweet memories of Christmas past and brings to mind those who can’t be with us for Christmas 2020.
The song features a group of international musicians. There are two versions one an arrangement by GRAMMY-nominated and Juno Award-winning producer Roger Ryan (Nashville).
This CD is dedicated to the memory of Karen Waters, who died of childhood cancer on 11 April 2003. She was 13 years old. Karen was a multi-talented girl who loved to sing. At primary school she was in the National Children’s Choir, and was a member of her school choir in secondary school. She was also a keen artist and won a Merit Award in the Texaco Art Competition. Lively, determined and full of potential, Karen’s personality touched everyone she met. All funds raised from streaming and CD sales will be donated to Karen’s Fund – Crumlin Children’s Hospital.
