IMRO Christie Hennessy Song Competition Finalists: Ciara Donnelly & Colin Deady

The live final of the 2012 IMRO Christie Hennessy Song Competition takes place this Saturday, 17th November at The Brandon Hotel, Tralee. Ten finalists selected from over 200 entries will compete for this prestigious prize and a cheque for €1,000 courtesy of Tralee Chamber Alliance.

To celebrate the final, IMRO will be featuring two finalists in our Member News section each day this week. Today we feature Ciara Donnelly (Yellowbridge) and Colin Deady….

Ciara Donnelly – Yellowbridge

Song: “Circus”

Yellowbridge is an indie/folk/pop outfit made up of Waterford native singer/songwriter and pianist Ciara Donnelly, in collaboration with guest producers and musicians.

Yellowbridge is a relatively new project for the singer songwriter based in Dublin who also writes tracks and hooks for a variety of artists ranging from rock to rap. With a debut EP release at the end of 2012 and an Irish tour Yellowbridge will be going full force in 2013.

Colin Deady

Song: “Season’s Tide”

Colin Deady is a musician, songwriter and performer. He hails from the edge of the world… Skibbereen.

Colin brings his own life experiences to his music which in turn brings his music to life.

Colin recently recorded ‘Season’s Tide’, and it will be available to download from iTunes from the 18th of November 2012.
