Fighting Chance, a major new competition to discover Ireland’s unsigned musical talent has been launched.

The Irish Daily Mail is on the hunt for original artists who would like the chance to be part of a national competition which will guarantee them widespread TV and newspaper coverage later this year. The winning acts will also be included on one of this year’s biggest CD releases.

The competition is open to anyone; individual artist or band, over the age of 16 who thinks they have what it takes to become Ireland’s next best music name, and guarantees national television and newspaper promotion to the winning acts.

The aim is to give unsigned Irish acts a Fighting Chance in the music industry by providing huge exposure to a national audience. The Irish Daily Mail will showcase the winning acts on a specially commissioned CD for national release with guaranteed marketing and promotional support.

Anyone interested should send one original recording of their work via WAV or AIFF format to fightingchance@nulldailymail.ie. The closing date for entry is Friday 27th May. Contestants should also send details of their act including the track name and composer, as well as a photo of the act.
