Produced by Mark Caplice and mixed/mastered by Cian Sweeney of 1000Beasts, the song brought Laura’s music to a whole new audience. ‘In My Defence’ marks an uplifting new direction but still holds that distinctive sound and heart that the songwriter has become known for.
2019 has already seen Laura Elizabeth Hughes sell out her first Dublin headline show as well as building on a rapidly expanding fanbase with her first shows across the Atlantic in New York City and with a special intimate show for Sofar Sounds in London.
