Neff Brothers Perform for the Cream of Hollywood Music Industry

Following their highly acclaimed collaboration with renowned Icelandic composer, Atli Örvarsson, on his score for Oscar-winning director Kevin Macdonald’s latest film, “The Eagle,” the Neff Brothers are to perform at the prestigious LA Composers Salon. With grant assistance from Culture Ireland, the Neff Brothers will reunite with the prolific composer and the superbly talented soprano Thórhildur Örvarsdóttir, to recreate the film score in a much anticipated live performance.

The Neff Brothers are award-winning Irish musicians with an extensive international profile. They have recorded and toured to critical acclaim throughout the globe both as NeffBros and as part of several collaborative ensembles, including Riverdance, the Afro Celt Sound System, the London Metropolitan Orchestra, the Royal Scottish National Symphony Orchestra, Amalgamare, Anxo Lorenzo Band, Assembly Point, An Táin Project, to name but a few. Both Flaithri & Eoghan Neff are also highly regarded award-winning scholars who are in the final submission phases of their PhD theses, considering 'Virtual Spatial Audio Environments' and 'Musical Improvisation & Avant- Gardism' respectively. In this regard, and as first class honors postgraduates, they maintain an active list of academic publications in books, journals and conference proceedings.
