Irish traditional folk group, The Arbour Men, have just released their new single “Copenhagen Girls”. The group, made up of Des Tobin, Michael Redmond and Ger Kirrane, have been individually playing Irish Music since they were kids and have gigged around Ireland and across the globe. Multi-instrumentalists, they originally crossed paths at various fleadhs and feiseanna before teaming up to try and deliver Irish music with an extra twist, and hopefully with more energy and life than the general public are used to. Lead Singer, Des Tobin says; “All we want is to see people smile, sing and dance – then we’re happy”.
The Arbour Men have recently teamed up with The Cotton Tree Project, the group of writers and producers (Fergal O’Byrne, John Kinsella, Stuart O’Loughlin and John Jones) behind “Copenhagen Girls”, and the song was recorded in Fellard Music Studios, Rosslare.
A video, recorded in Mernagh’s Bar, Oilgate, Wexford, is currently picking up attention on YouTube and the song is available for download from iTunes, Google Play, Amazon and all other main music download and streaming sites.
