The Sound Training Centre has been setting standards in the education of music production, sound engineering, live sound, lighting and stage management for over 24 years. The college incorporates a very impressive list of facilities including Grouse Lodge Studio 1 and 2, Apollo, Sun, Elektra, and The Bridge Studios, The Button Factory Venue and Temple Lane Rehearsal Studios.
The opportunities for students to succeed within the music industry are unmatched anywhere in the world. The Sound Training Centre has a hugely impressive list of graduates that is evident both in Ireland and in the international market. The facilities and graduates have recently been at the forefront of the Raw Sessions programme on RTE and have been responsible for some of the biggest selling albums in the world today. They have also been home to REM, the late Michael Jackson, Paolo Nutini, Snow Patrol, The Black Eyed Peas plus many many more.
The Sound Training Centre is now enrolling for a wide range of courses for the academic year 2010 – 2011 and invites interested parties to its open day on Saturday 27th March 2010.
