A year ago Superblondes released their debut EP………

…….and here they are to whet the appetite with “Kill Some Time” a swooping, swirling, shimmering sound that evokes thoughts of summer nights. Contagious guitar driven hooks, drum beats that sound as if they are about to take off and soaring vocals.

Cork and Limerick based Superblondes’ core members Calvin Cooke (drums), Simon Dargan (bass) and Eoin Hally (guitar, keys.vox) recorded the self-penned “Kill Some Time” at The Factory in Dublin, produced and mixed by Kieran Lynch (U2, R.E.M, Elvis Costello), mastered by Howie Weinberg (Nirvana, Yeah Yeahs, Beastie Boys). Further tracks from the sessions will be released later in the year.
Supplemented by additional guitarists Superblondes are an exhilarating and exciting live five piece band, they have shared stages with White Lies, Alabama 3, The Minutes, Kila, Fight Like Apes and Delorentos as well as playing slots at Hard Working Class Heroes and Indiependence. The plan for 2013 is to get out there and perform.
