March 4, 2014

The Ride or Die Gang - Press Photo - Feb 2014The Ride or Die Gang release their new EP titled ‘What About Love’ on March 11th 2014. The EP features four new recordings displaying the bands usual flair for blending catchy vocal melodies with mainstream ‘classic style’ rock music.

After receiving wide praise for their recent single ‘Integral’ the band will also be releasing the title track of the EP – ‘What About Love’ – as their follow up single. A radio friendly rock tune in the vein of Free or Bad Company with a lyric that flags the issue of domestic abuse. “It’s a bit of a nudge to remind us of a relentless issue we should all be paying more attention to” says guitarist Teeyeff. “With 1 in 3 women in an international context being subjected to abuse, chances are it’s happening not too far from your own door.”
A video for the new single has been completed and is now in the final stages of post-production. “We opted to get some actors on board for this video” says Rory O’Connor the bands singer. “We wanted to make the point in a more powerful way than a simple band performance could. The actors definitely add some real weight to the story.” The video will be available on release date via YouTube and Vimeo.
To promote and support the EP the band are currently rehearsing a new set for a series of gigs planned for late March and April. Details of venues and dates will be published to the band website once they become confirmed.

The EP and Single will be available through the band website & also on iTunes, Amazon MP3, CD Baby and major online music retailers.
