• The entrant may enter the IMRO Tune-Up Your Business Award (the “Award”) by submitting a completed entry form obtained from https://www.imro.ie/supporting-music/imro-tune-up-your-business/
  • If the entrant is currently using music in their premises they may enter the IMRO Tune-Up Your Business Award (the “Award”) only if they have a valid dual music licence from IMRO. Premises which pay for their dual music licence in instalments can enter if they are up to date on payments. Any Premises with an outstanding debt with IMRO can enter the Awards programme only if the debt is cleared by the date the Awards programme closes.
  • By entering the Awards programme, the entrant will be deemed to accept these Terms and Conditions.
  • The Awards programme is being run by The Irish Music Rights Organisation CLG, Copyright House, Pembroke Row, Lower Baggot Street, Dublin 2, D02 HW59, Ireland. (the “Promoter”).
  • There is no entrance fee to enter the Awards.
  • Entrants must be 18 years of age or over and a resident of the Republic of Ireland.
  • The Awards are only open to those people identified as being permitted to enter or requested to enter as the case may be. The Awards are not open to IMRO employees, agents, contractors or sub-contractors – or their families.
  • Only one entry application per Premises will be accepted.
  • The entrant must be the owner/manager of the Premises and by entering confirms that they have the authority to authorise the Promoter to use the name and image(s) of the Premises in connection with the Awards Programme.
  • By accepting the Award, the Winner grants IMRO the right to use and publish his/her name and picture in such media as IMRO may choose (including but not limited to the internet) for advertising and promotional purposes without additional consideration.
  • All entries must be received no later than midnight on 28th February 218 (the “Closing Date”).
  • IMRO reserves the right to suspend, extend or terminate the Awards or amend these terms and conditions at any time for any valid, technical or commercial reason.
  • One winner (the “Winner”) will be selected by a panel of judges after the Closing Date.
  • The Winner will be chosen on assessment of the following criteria: vision shown from the entrant of what they want to achieve with music in their business, impact that the prize money would have, how the prize money would positively affect customers and staff and quality of the written entry.
  • The Winner will be announced on the Promoter’s website and the Winner’s name will be available on request from the Promoter. The winner will be contacted by 2nd April 2018, by email or telephone.
  • The Prize for the Winner will be sound and music equipment up to an aggregate value of €4,000 (four thousand Euro). IMRO will purchase the selected equipment.
  • Two Runners-Up will receive a prize each. Each Runners-Up Prize will be sound and music equipment up to an aggregate value of €500 (five hundred Euro). IMRO will purchase this equipment.
  • The Prize and Runners-Up Prizes are not transferable to any other individual and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.
  • IMRO is committed to protecting competition entrants’ privacy. Any personal data collected will be used in accordance with the organisation’s privacy and data protection policy.
  • The Promoter reserves the right not to offer the Prize or Runners-Up Prizes to any entrants if no suitable applications are received.
  • By entering the Awards programme, entrants agree to accept and be bound by the Terms and Conditions and any decisions of its judges which are final and binding in all matters.
  • The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. All stated information, eligibility and submission guidelines, Terms and Conditions of entry, and entry information may be subject to change or modification by the Promoter without notice.
  • Entrants release and hold harmless the Promoter from any and all liability and any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with these Awards to the extent permitted by law.
  • These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ireland and each party submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
