youbloom, an Irish company was founded by Phil Harrington, musician, entrepreneur, in 2010 with a simple vision – to make live music more accessible and better for all. From an annual Music Awards to a series of international showcase festivals and conferences in Dublin and LA, youbloom has evolved into a global collaboration of creators, musicians, and entrepreneurs.
youbloomDublin19 in its seventh year, includes elements taking place over 5 days, from May 30th to June 3rd.
youbloom at Bloom: In 2015, youbloom was appointed to programme Bord Bia’s Bloom in the Park main music stage. In this, its fourth year, the programme presents over 20 acts, Irish and international and will take place over 5 days from May 30th to June 3rd, more details Bloom in the Park Live Music
Introducing youbloomConnect: Uninterrupted, unforgettable, live music experiences, exclusive shows and tours for music lovers.
The idea: Unforgettable, affordable, live music experiences in cities around the world, increasing the connectedness of fans, artists, hosts, and promoters.
The experience: A show where fans get to request artists and listen to curated music in an intimate setting, surrounded by friends and others who love live music.
So What’s Happening….?
The launch of youbloomConnect, its first official “show” will take place on June 1st, 2019 at 2pm in Dublin at IMRO (Irish Music Rights Organisation), Copyright House, Pembroke Row, Baggot Street Lower, Dublin D02 HW59.
The youbloomConnect launch show is a central part of youbloomDublin19 in its seventh year. Four bands, two local to Dublin and two international acts, will play a stripped back set. The bands are Dreaming of Jupiter (Ireland), Headtrip Acoustic (Ireland), Carito Plaza (Chile) and Northlight (Sweden).
Tickets: Free entry but requires ticketing and numbers are very limited.
youbloomConnect shows are planned to commence in Los Angeles, San Diego, Santiago & London in the second half of 2019.
Conference: Prior to the Connect launch show, on the same day and also at IMRO, youbloomDublin19 will host a conference including two panels and one masterclass from 10am to 1pm. The panels are as follows: “PUBLISHING LIFE HACKS – The insider’s guide to the tricks of the trade” led by Steve Lindsey of Elevate Music and “OLD SCHOOL / NEW SCHOOL / SCHOOL’S OUT – Has getting your music out there gotten any different in the new times of social media” led by Martin Bridgeman of KCLR96FM and a masterclass “youbloomConnect – Growing your live music presence and revenues” led by Phil Harrington, CEO of youbloom.
