Naked Animals are a rock band from Cork, Ireland. Known for their high-octane and gripping stage show, the 5 piece have played some of Ireland and Europe’s leading festivals, such as Electric Picnic, Wilderness and Other Voices.
Following on from the success of their debut single ‘My Deepest Funk’, their upcoming E.P ‘Business As Usual’ is due for release in June 2021. ‘Good News’”, the first in a series of singles from this EP is out now. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Prince, Talking Heads and Republic of Loose, Naked Animals are guaranteed to blow you away with their vibrant mix of energy, charisma and musicianship.
‘Good News’ was written in the early part of 2019 and was originally about seeing the world through a more positive lens, using your own independent thought and being critical of negative forms of media. As 2020 rolled around the song obviously began to take more and more meaning based on what was happening around us and seems especially relevant now more than ever.
