New EP from Tony Floyd Kenna

December 13, 2010

IMRO member Tony Floyd Kenna has just released a solo EP of five original songs. ‘The Kiss Of Life’ special edition features The Kiss Of Life, Done My Time, New Train, Sky and The Sisters of Fate. The response has been very encouraging with Dublin City FM already playing ‘Done My Time’. Tony will be interviewed live on Dublin City FM’s Good Morning Dublin programme on Friday December 17th.

Feedback on the individual tracks include comments such as ‘Sky absolutely lovely, love the guitar solo’ ‘New Train smacks you in the face’  ‘The Kiss of Life, very compelling tune’ ‘A very nice soulful rock sound, brilliant!’
'Your hooks grabbed us'.

Back in the late seventies through to the late eighties, Tony was busy as a bass player and songwriter with Good Intentions, Maggies Farm, Face To Face, The Gravediggers and lots more. Behind the scenes he worked in sound engineering and served on the council of IASC (the Irish songwriters association of the time).

Good Intentions reformed in 2010 after 25 years and their summer release ‘Sacred Ground' (co-written with Tony) was very positively received. All instruments are performed by Tony on his latest solo release.
