whitechalk1White Chalk, has been selected as one of six music acts to share the story of their music career to date in the form of an artist video journey. Shot in Mullingar and Ballintra, the video diary documents how the seven piece came together as a band.
Fronted by former ‘The Voice of Ireland’ contestant, Conor Quinn, White Chalk are Kevin Farrell, Aishling McCarthy, David Doyle, Liam O’ Reilly, Niamh Kirby and Brian Masterson.

They use an array of instruments including cello, keyboards, guitar, mandolin, drums and bass to create a unique sound to complement their five-part harmonies. Since forming in April 2013, the band has supported Kodaline, The Strypes and have been chosen to performed this year on 2 stages at Electric Picnic. Their debut E.P. ‘Golden Kids’ went to number 1 on the album chart downloads on iTunes. Speaking about the campaign video, Conor Quinn said: ‘We’re so excited to share this video – it was so much fun to film and it will give people an insight into our music.’

Guinness Amplify is a new exciting music programme that was launched earlier this summer to turn up the volume for emerging musicians in Ireland by supporting them as they unlock their full potential. Guinness Amplify Live will see 500 free gigs take place across 5 weeks in September and October. Guinness Amplify Live – Leinster will kick off on the 11th Sept – 14th Sept.
